4th International Wheat Congress 2026 will be held in Bologna
ECR video competition of our Expert Working Group on Wheat Pathogens!
The IWC is a biennial event, the 3rd edition 2024 was held in Perth, Australia. The 4th International Wheat Congress will be held from 25-29 of September in Bologna, Italy!
Early Career Researchers of the Expert Working Group on Wheat Pathogens are invited to create and submit a video explaining their work! The challenge is to present research results and application, translating knowledge for a more general audience and not just for experts in the field.

Expert Working Groups (EWGs) are established where there would be benefit from bringing together experts with a focus on a topic of relevance to the Wheat Initiative’s aims and objectives.
AHEAD
AHEAD - Alliance for Adaptation to Heat and Drought is the international umbrella organization under the WI that coordinates core initiatives and projects that are dedicated to addressing scientific gaps and to establish synergies that will support the development of new wheat varieties that are resilient to heat and drought.
